Nieuw rapport! Cultiveer een gezonde cultuur: waarom de huidige maatschappelijke ontwikkelingen meer aandacht voor cultuur vragen van bestuur en auditor | |
IIA Nederland heeft samen met KPMG het rapport ‘Cultiveer een gezonde cultuur’ over het auditen van cultuur en gedrag (C&G audits) geschreven. Dit rapport heeft als doel internal auditors handvatten te bieden C&G audits te ontwikkelen en uit te voeren. Centraal in het rapport staat de vraag hoe internal auditors op dit moment C&G meenemen in hun audits. De best practices worden in het rapport gedeeld. | | | |

In de zesde aflevering gaan Peter Hartog en Liane van Eerde in gesprek met Muel Kaptein, partner bij KPMG Integrity & Compliance en Professor Business Ethics aan de RSM Erasmus University. Ethiek, als basis voor integriteit en compliance, krijgt nog steeds te weinig aandacht volgens Muel. De ethiek van de organisatie en van de auditor zelf. The IIA’s Standards Board is currently reviewing public comments to inform the continued development of the Standards. | |
The IIA announced the close of the 90-day public comment period for the proposed changes to the IPPF, including the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. The new draft Global Internal Audit Standards™ and accompanying survey questions were translated and made available in more than 20 languages. Over the course of the comment period, more than 1,600 surveys were completed, representing a globally diverse population. The public comment period was the latest step in the International Internal Audit Standards Board’s (IIASB) due process to update the Standards. The IIA is currently in the process of compiling and analyzing the survey results including translating comments. IIASB members are reviewing individual comments along with the quantitative survey data. | |

The role of Internal Audit in ESG in the Banking sector | |
The last few years, the EU has issued many new regulations and guidance on ESG. Internal Audit is well positioned to help banks navigating through this fast-changing world of ESG regulations and stakeholder expectations.
