Webinar Structuring & Covering the Audit Universe with a risk rated Audit Plan | |
Based upon a ‘best practices session’ among the large Internal Audit Departments in The Netherlands, the Professional Practices Committee of IIA Netherlands (CPP) further analysed the methodology topic: ‘audit coverage and aggregated assurance given the audit universe of the organization’. Norbert Kouwenberg, chair of CPP, presented the results, elaborating in-depth on the diverse practices in the Netherlands, in a webinar facilitated by Wolters Kluwer.
This webinar will outline the most relevant aspects to take into account when preparing and making choices about the universe and coverage. Shaping the audit universe determines the outcome on achieving coverage in multi-year cycles. Aspects as change, flexibility, reporting requirements and ex-post coverage, all set requirements for the universe’s structure.

ECIIA and EIRG (European Institutes Research Group) are glad to invite you to the webinar How organisations are responding to new cyber risks?, organised on November 7 at 11:00 (CET). The 2024 edition of Risk in Focus highlighted again cyber risks as the top 1 risk. European auditors have gathered to discuss the nature and evolution of the cyber risk, and the challenges impacting all organisations. During the webinar, we will share the main output of the discussions: -what cybersecurity risks are still of high concern -the organisation’s investments in cybersecurity and controls -the state of technical risks. The event is free of charge and grants 1 CPE. The CPE request form will be available at the end of the event. Please note that CPE will be issued by your local IIA. | |
